The Central Area Collaborative is releasing an RFP to select a PR/Media & Communications Consultant.
Because although we do awesome work…no one really knows who and what is behind the work, especially in the Central Area neighborhoods. For instance, it was the Central Area Collaborative that was responsible for putting together the five community organizations, two design consultants and partnerships with both the City of Seattle’s Office of Planning and Community Development as well as the Office of Economic Development, that created and brought to City Council the Central Area Design Guidelines document which now helps to shape the design of most of the major development now happening in the Central Area. But do you know who the 5 community organizations and 2 design consultant firms that helped make this all happen are?
Did you know the Central Area Design Guidelines have now given the community a voice in such a way, that more City departments are including neighborhood groups in the planning discussions?
Did you know the Central Area Collaborative brought a cultural and community focus to the City Light plan to locate an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station in the northern boundaries of our culturally redlined neighborhoods?
Do you know how the Central Area Collaborative works to ensure small businesses have a voice and provided business technical assistance?
